Silver Sun : Immediate
(Invisible Hands)

Once upon a time, not so long ago, there was a rather fantastic band who mixed great slabs of Ramones-on-surfboards guitars with sweet, sweet vocal harmonies to match.

This band were called Silver Sun and they were featured very heavily in R*E*P*E*A*T.

Then they had 6 top 40 hits, blew up the PA at Newcastle Rock City, went on Top of the Pops, played a secret gig at the Portland Arms, went to America and then were never seen again.

Until now.

The return of Silver Sun could well be the highlight of your year. Although I'm not sure about the weirdy keyboard start to lead track 'Immediate', the rest of this record is vintage stuff.

'As good as 'Trickle Down'?' I hear you ask. Well, yes, on early acquaintance I think so.

Fizz filled, power packed, harmony backed pop perfection.

What's even better, there's rumours of live dates and an album to follow.

Get this essential soundtrack to your summer, to be listened to 'without clothes', on November 14th
