Tom Emlyn Band
Clwb Ifor Bach
13.4.24
I ran through streets, cottages with no doors, trees with no lights,
and cars with no humans to witness tonight. My ears and eyes need
to tell my brain what to write so here we go music lovers
I'm
coming into this one full of love and generosity!
Ive followed Toms music for a good while
now and will always rock up and try and scum a guest list spot if
I can, or rattle my pocket until the doorman lets me in.
Tom and his band sound bewtafull, well rehearsed, fun,
and most importantly full of beans. Ive always been a fan of
Toms stage presence and also the words that fall out of his
mouth so Im currently a very happy chappy.
His music fits the Clwb stage well, the sound this eve is very good,
I dont have ear plugs in and its not killing me, to be
fair to the gods of sound.
Their set has a great flow to it, great to see Evan from Rainyday
Rainbow tickling the bass, cracking Gromit.
I also like that Toms shirt matches his guitar, very enjoyable.
Id see Tom play anywhere to be fair; Clwb, a farm, Lidl, IDK,
literally anywhere.
Theyre playing Cover Band now which slaps and Im
very glad hes not in a cover band but ho hey corker of a song
Yesyesyes.
Smoking is bad but it looks cool.
Smelling fucking solo for that smoking song my gosh, proper good bit
of music very much appreciated in the ears.
Also the solo for the last song was mind blowing, stinking, and gave
off the same vibes as the solo from the SpongeBob Movie, great set
from a great human.
All in all a cracking night - Toms sister performed wonderfully
next to him also adding pretty harmonies to his delicate words, the
chat, the music, the drip, the vibes, a very happy time.
I spoke to Tom and he said hes looking to gig
more with the band so be sure to hunt this fucker down and have him
impregnate your ears with songs every boy and every girl should know.
Mr Pickett.
