Chris T-T's Tomorrow Morning / Cosy Cosy's Drive Drive split single
(R*E*P*E*A*T Records)

REPEAT has become something of an indie-tution over the past decade, championing the best local talent while giving a stage to upcoming national acts and a voice to genuine left wing politics through its gigs, fanzines and website.
It is fitting that its most recent venture encapsulates the lot. In association with Love Music Hate Racism, REPEAT Records release a limited edition translucent purple seven-inch double a-side single on Saturday featuring rising stars Chris TT and local heroes Cosy Cosy.
Completely reworked from his last album London is Sinking, Chris TT's Tomorrow Morning tingles with all that makes him one of the countries best songwriters - simple yet catchy, deep but accessible and achingly honest.
Cosy Cosy's Drive Drive does exactly what it says on the tin, chugging along on a mixture of slack punk gusto and pent-up indie frustration - poppy and instantly hum-able with a Jesus and Mary Chain roar.
Both bands will play two full sets (quiet and noisy) at the Portland Arms, Cambridge, on Saturday, September 25 (£5, doors 8pm for 8.15pm). For single, tour and other details visit www.repeatfanzine.co.uk
