Bio from their Facebook Page Jacob's Mouse were a three-piece indie rock band from Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, England. They comprised identical twins Hugo and Jebb Boothby on guitar and bass respectively, along with singing drummer Sam Marsh. Despite some critical acclaim, several sessions for Radio One's John Peel Show, high-profile supports with early-90s "buzz" bands (including Th' Faith Healers, Nirvana, Suede and Manic Street Preachers), numerous festival appearances and a successful UK tour supporting Babes in Toyland and Trumans Water, they failed to achieve mainstream popularity. Following the release of their Rubber Room LP in 1995, Jacob's Mouse split. Sam Marsh went on to record a couple of singles and two albums as The Machismos, and also sang and played drums in oldschool hardcore band Volunteers. Marsh has also played with dub bands Zen Reggae Masters and The People's Choice, and produced records by Thee Vicars, Ten City Nation and Rats As Big As Dogs as well as mixing tracks and mastering compilations for R*E*P*E*A*T Records.
