ALEX WINSTON- Careless
Ive been sitting on a train quite a lot recently. This is not
the first time that Ive commuted into London for work but it
just seems worse this time. Still, at least I have some optimistic
and uplifting pop to keep me sane when my head is wedged into some
strangers orifice while a bald old man utters little coughs
over my flailing corpse. In the ilk of Niki and the Doves electro-pop
style, Careless is the first song from the New Yorkers
forthcoming album and it could just have saved my tired existence.
While the press release tries to look for meaning (her works
theme is stepping outside of herself or something), I just want to
dance. I would say on the bones of the bigwigs at National Rail but
that would be mean, right?
Released 10th February, 2015.
